We are a member of the Ape Alliance, a coalition of great ape protection organisations. One of the most important aims is the fight against the killing of great apes for their meat.

The photographer Christian Kaiser has permitted us to use many of his gorilla photos as well as photos documenting gorilla conservation.

The mission of this Ugandan NGO is to promote conservation and public health by improving primary health care to people and animals in and around protected areas in Africa. We supported CTPH with technical equipment.

The GTZ (Society for Technical Co-operation) was the developmental aid organisation of the German government until 2010. We cooperated with the GTZ in various respects, especially in the conservation of the Kahuzi-Biega National Park.

In 2011 the annual nature conservation campaign of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) is the "EAZA Ape Campaign". It focuses on all apes: chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas, orang-utans and gibbons.

We have been cooperating with EAZA since 2000 in the bushmeat campaign. During that campaign, substantial funds were raised too; a part of these donations supported our activities against the bushmeat trade.

The Frankfurt Zoological Society is an advocate of a world in which biological diversity is appreciated as the basis of all life and as a fundamental value. We are especially cooperating in one of FZS's projects, the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

For the Bushmeat Exhibition in 2000 many organizations cooperated.

GrASP is an UNEP (UN Environment Programme) initiative for the conservation of the great apes. The Berggorilla & Regenwald Direkthilfe is an official partner of GrASP.

Authority for nature conservation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

The IGCP is a coalition of the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), Fauna and Flora International (FFI) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). It supports mountain gorilla conservation projects in Rwanda, Congo and Uganda. We have worked together with IGCP in various activities.

The Lukuru Project works to conserve wildlife, especially the bonobo, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We cooperate to further information about and support to the nationals parks of Congo, especially Kahuzi-Biega and Maiko.

The environment and nature conservation authority of the German federal state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern supports our mobile phone recycling activities.

"Mondberge" is a German community internet platform. With their contents the produce a book that also supports one of our gorilla conservation projects.

The gorilla doctors are occupied with mountain gorilla health. Moreover, their employee health programme aims at preventing disease transmission to the gorillas by humans. We support the MGVP's employee health programme in Kahuzi-Biega.

Pro Wildlife fights for the conservation of endangered species. We cooperate in certain projects.

Since 1993 Rettet den Drill supports the organisation Pandrillus, which was founded by the American biologists Liza Gadsby and Peter Jenkins in Nigeria. Pandrillus cares for confiscated drills that will be rehabilitated in the wild.

Rettet den Regenwald supports environmental groups and conservation projects in Middle and South America, Asia and Africa - and the organisation supports worldwide informational exchange with many other conservation groups including us.

Rhino Fund Uganda is establishing a breeding sanctuary with the eventual goal to bring back the rhino to Uganda's protected areas after its extinction there in the 1980s.

We worked together with the Wildlife Conservation Society several times, first in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and more recently in the Cross River area in Nigeria and Cameroon.

The company WIRKAUFENS is our partner in mobile phone recycling. We receive part of the proceeds of phones that can be sold.
