We are a member of the Ape Alliance, a coalition of great ape protection organisations. One of the most important aims is the fight against the killing of great apes for their meat.

We support AWP's project "Great Apes Education Program Cameroon". A professional trained team will develop long lasting education material for the conservation of the critically endangeres apes and implement it in schools of the Cross River area.

The GTZ (Society for Technical Co-operation) was the developmental aid organisation of the German government until 2010. We cooperated with the GTZ in various respects, especially in the conservation of the Kahuzi-Biega National Park.
European Association of Zoos and Aquaria
We have been cooperating with EAZA since 2000 in the bushmeat campaign. During that campaign, substantial funds were raised too; a part of these donations supported our activities against the bushmeat trade.
Frankfurt Zoological Society
The Frankfurt Zoological Society is an advocate of a world in which biological diversity is appreciated as the basis of all life and as a fundamental value. We are especially cooperating in one of FZS's projects, the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Gorilla Doctors provide veterinary care to the critically endangered mountain and Grauer’s gorillas in Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. They provide health care for the habituated gorilla groups in all three countries, as well as for the orphans confiscated from poachers. The Gorilla Doctors Employee Health Program aims to prevent disease transmission between park rangers and the gorillas. We supported several activities of the Gorilla Doctors.

International Gorilla Conservation Programme
The IGCP is a coalition of the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), Fauna and Flora International (FFI) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). It supports mountain gorilla conservation projects in Rwanda, Congo and Uganda. We have worked together with IGCP in various activities.
Lukuru Wildlife Research Project
The Lukuru Project works to conserve wildlife, especially the bonobo, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We cooperate to further information about and support to the nationals parks of Congo, especially Kahuzi-Biega and Maiko.

Rettet den Drill
Since 1993 Rettet den Drill supports the organisation Pandrillus, which was founded by the American biologists Liza Gadsby and Peter Jenkins in Nigeria. Pandrillus cares for confiscated drills that will be rehabilitated in the wild.

Rettet den Regenwald supports environmental groups and conservation projects in Middle and South America, Asia and Africa - and the organisation supports worldwide informational exchange with many other conservation groups including us. They also have supported our projects.
Wildlife Conservation Society
We worked together with the Wildlife Conservation Society several times, first in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo and more recently in the Cross River area in Nigeria and Cameroon.
